Why 8?

Why Workhouse”8″?

Everybody asks! Here are a few possible explanations:

The number 8 is composed of two zeros joined together,
valueless when apart, worth something when joined together.

The number 8 is held by many oriental cultures, along with the colour red, to symbolise prosperity and good fortune.

The number 8 is the only unbroken symbol of an integer in the arabic number system, used worldwide. It is a symbol of continuity.
